Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, announced today (12th Aug) that it will open its fifteenth route to/from Bratislava airport. The new route to Bologna will commence on the 29th October 2009. Ryanair will operate three weekly services to/from Bratislava, generating 40,000 passengers and securing approx 40 more jobs in the local region. Starting from tomorrow (13th Aug) the new destination will be bookable online via www.ryanair.com.

Bologna is the second new Ryanair route for Bratislava airport in the last seven days as the Irish low cost carrier announced its new Liverpool route to/from Bratislava last week. Starting on 21th October this route will also be operated three times per week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).
